sbobet thai Derek McInnes wants reaction from Aberdeen after two successive defeats as they travel to Motherwell in the Scottish Premiership live on Sky Sports.

The Dons have lost 2-0 to Celtic and Hibernian in their last two league outings, and now trail second-place Rangers by three points.

McInnes wants his side to get back to winning ways at Fir Park, but understands how tough a trip to Motherwell, currently in seventh spot, can be.

"They are pushing for the top six which is progress from where they've been (in previous years), and they've been to a cup final. We have to be able to stand up to that and be good enough on the day to cause them problems," he said.

"We need a strong finish to meet our aspirations. There is still a lot to look forward to. We have 10 games to try and finish second and a quarter-final of the cup to look forward to."

Motherwell boss Stephen Robinson celebrates a year in charge this month after taking over from Mark McGhee, and is pleased with his first 12 months at the helm.

"I'm a wee bit greyer now than when I first took the job. Listen, it's a great football club, super people involved in it. It's probably as enjoyable as management gets," he said.

"We have been relatively successful for the size of the football club and the budget we work with. I'm enjoying it, it's a challenge, there are new challenges every day. But that's what you know, when you take the job, that's what you have to meet."

Team news

Aberdeen captain Graeme Shinnie returns after suspension, while Ryan Christie is available after missing out against his parent club Celtic last time out.

Sam Cosgrove was sent off on his debut in that defeat to the Hoops and will miss out, while Joe Lewis (knee) is a long-term absentee.
